Take your practice further by exploring the art of Pranayama, where you’ll learn specialised breathing techniques. These techniques empower you to gain control over your emotional and mental states, fostering relaxation and sharpening your focus and concentration.

You will learn how to expand the lungs with the three movements of breathing. A relaxed breath is always recognised by the natural inflation of the abdomen. You can see the belly moving when someone is sleeping. An expanded breat can increase the lungs average capacity of half a litre of air to a fully inflated 5 litres of air.

Once you learn to expand the lungs with a full yogic breath we teach you how to control the breath with alternate nostril breathing and retention of the breath. All yoga breathing techniques improve vitality, concentration and mental clarity.
